<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with which an option or the like can be added to an image forming apparatus such as a printer in an occupancy space-saved manner. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 1 includes: an ejected-sheet stacking space 2 which is disposed above an image forming part and into which the sheets with images recorded thereon are ejected; and a roof 3 disposed above the ejecting part.
