<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wire covering cutting tool which can make a cut into only a covering layer of a wire even if the wire has not a prescribed standardized diameter. <P>SOLUTION: The covering cutting tool which makes a cut into the covering on the surface of the wire comprises: a disk-shaped cutting part which cuts the covering; a disk-shaped control part which is formed at the side of the cutting part and controls the cut of the covering so as to meet the thickness of the covering; a pair of pulleys which are arranged so as to face the cutting part and support the wire; a main body which is composed of a first structure which pivotally supports the cutting part and the control part and a second structure which pivotally supports the control part so that the cutting part faces a groove of the pulley, and in which the first structure and the second structure are constituted so as to be freely opened and closed; and a spring part which are installed to the first structure and the second structure, and operate so as to close the first structure and the second structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
