<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage header allowing watertight jointing by inserting a spigot into the inner end of a socket to bond them in the state of not forming a substantial clearance between a spigot outer peripheral surface and a socket inner peripheral surface of header joints. <P>SOLUTION: In this drainage header, a plurality of header joints 1 each having a spigot 1b and a socket 1a at both ends and having a drain branch pipe connection port 1c in the side face, are arranged in a row, and the spigot 1b of each joint is inserted in the socket 1a of the adjacent joint 1 and bonded to connect the respective joints 1. The outer peripheral surface of the spigot 1b is tapered off, and the inner peripheral surface of the socket 1a is tapered widening toward the tip. The taper angleθ<SB>1</SB>of the spigot outer peripheral surface is set to 1/3 to 2/3 of a taper angleθ<SB>2</SB>of the socket inner peripheral surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
