WATER MAKING METHOD AND WATER MAKING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water making method which saves the installation area of a water making apparatus and can remove an organic substance efficiently and stably, and the water making apparatus therefor.

SOLUTION: An ascending flow type biological treatment tank having a microorganism carrier bed and an oxidative decomposition reaction tank including a photocatalyst arranged above the microorganism carrier bed of the ascending flow type biological treatment tank are provided. Water is passed through the microorganism carrier bed of the ascending flow type biological treatment tank and brought into contact with the photocatalyst above the microorganism carrier bed to be subjected to oxidative decomposition reaction.
