PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a cassette empty by recovering a photograph, housed in the cassette selected according to prescribed conditions, into a recovery box, when a new print order is received in the absence of an empty cassette; to effectively use the cassette for the storage of the photograph by housing the photograph, printed to the new print order, in the cassette; and to accept the new print order from a customer even in the absence of the empty cassette. SOLUTION: A network print station enables the printing and reception of the photograph, the print order of which is received via a network; when the new print order is received in the absence of the empty cassette, the photograph, which is housed in the cassette selected according to the prescribed conditions, is recovered into the recovery box; and on the occurrence of the empty cassette, a printer reprints the recovered photograph.
