PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by realizing prescribed fire resisting performance using few kinds of materials in small quantities. SOLUTION: Curtain wall structure is constituted by mounting glass and a spandrel wall material fittingly to a frame body comprising a lateral pair of vertical frames 2a, 2b, an upper frame 3, a lower frame 4 and an intermediate transom 5. In this structure, a plurality of vertical rows of inner surface ribs 22 are formed on the inner surfaces of vertical walls 21 of the pair of vertical frames 2a, 2b, and a plurality of incombustible plates 7 are inserted between the vertical walls 21 of the pair of vertical frames 2a, 2b to realize the fire resisting construction of a curtain wall.
