PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a molding excellent in flame retardancy, permanent antistatic properties, and mechanical properties under circumstances that a conventional permanently antistatic resin composition having flame retardancy is obliged to contain a large amount of a flame retardant because of its insufficient flame retardancy and therefore it can hardly give a molding excellent in flame retardancy, permanent antistatic properties, and mechanical properties. SOLUTION: The antistatic resin composition developing flame retardancy comprises 5 to 50 pts. wt. hydrophilic polymer having a thermal weight loss initiation temperature of 200 to 300°C in air, 30 to 94 pts. wt. thermoplastic resin, and 1 to 20 pts. wt. flame retardant.
