PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic for hiding irregular parts, capable of hiding large wrinkles or skin pores beautifully and without showing any incompatibility in appearance or touch feeling, and a method for hiding the irregular parts. SOLUTION: The method for hiding the irregular parts of the skin is provided by applying a cosmetic for hiding the irregular parts containing a swelling type oil-absorbing polymer in a state of having an oil content less than saturated oil absorbing amount, further a cosmetic for hiding the irregular part containing a binder to apply these cosmetics for hiding the irregular parts on the skin, and then bringing a cosmetic containing an oily component capable of swelling the swelling type oil-absorbing polymer in contact with the applied part.
