<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoothing capacitor disposing structure of an inverter unit which can secure a long lifetime without introducing a temperature rise even by using a small-sized electrolytic capacitor according to a small current ripple capacity while a vibration input at a vehicle carrying time is surely prevented from being dropped. <P>SOLUTION: The inverter unit I is disposed between the battery 17 of a DC power supply and a multiple shaft multilayer motor M driven by an AC current, and has first DC bus bars 72a, 72b and second DC bus bars 73a, 73b, an IPM 70, and the electrolytic capacitor 74 in an inverter upper case 30. The electrolytic capacitor 74 forms a capacitor inserting groove 35 having a shape similar to the side face of the capacitor and the bottom of the capacitor in the inverter upper case 30. The terminals 74a, 74b of the electrolytic capacitor 74 are disposed on upper surfaces and introduced into the capacitor inserting groove 35, and a capacitor cooling water passage 32 is formed along the side face shape of the capacitor on the outer periphery of the capacitor inserting groove 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
