<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device of a hybrid vehicle capable of efficiently selecting an assist in gear shifting and power generation by a motor generator in accordance with the operation state, while miniaturizing the motor generator. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid vehicle is equipped with an engine, the motor generator, planetary gears, and a transmission having a plurality of shift stages. The plurality of planetary gears are disposed and all the plurality of planetary gears 18, 19 coaxially have at least three input/output shafts, and the three shafts are of the mechanism connecting to any one of the engine 11, the motor generator 12, and a vehicle drive shaft 13 of an automatic MT of the transmission.
