<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a plectrum when its tip is damaged or the plectrum has to be modified in accordance with the genre of music or the kind of a musical instrument. <P>SOLUTION: The plectrum of a samisen is made by forming an approximately fan shaped plectrum main body section 2 on a tip end section 1a of a handle section 1.
