PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively small, thin, and inexpensive battery pack with latest characters and the like printed at high-grade and easily by wrapping a blackish insulation sheet as an exterior member to allow white characters and the like to be thereafter clearly and easily printed on the sheet. SOLUTION: The insulation sheet 10 using, as a base material, a resin such as PET flexible against bend and excellent in heat resistance, and coated with a blackish coating 11 containing carbon is wrapped around a battery can 14; the coating is burnt and removed according to the characters and the like by irradiating the sheet with a laser beam. Therefore, (1) a thin battery pack can be composed as compared with the case where a resin case is used; (2) running cost such as ink cost and ribbon cost can be eliminated; (3) a process is simplified; (4) characters and the like having high contrast can be displayed on the surface of the battery pack without damaging the sheet 10; and (5) change of the display content can be dealt with according to the circumstances.
