PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leather-like sheet having a natural leather-like texture, especially a calf-like smoothness and a clear and luxury appearance, exhibiting excellent softness, body feeling and embossing processability and suitable for a label for jeans, etc., and provide a method for producing the sheet. SOLUTION: The leather-like sheet for designing has (A) a porous layer composed of a polyurethane and formed on at least one surface of a substrate layer composed of a fiber-entangled nonwoven fabric containing an elastic polymer and (B) a dyed layer composed of a polyurethane and formed on the porous layer A. The porous layer A is colored with a dye or incorporated with 0.1-20% pigment having a particle diameter of≤5μm based on the polyurethane. The softening temperature of the polyurethane constituting the dyed layer B is lower than the softening temperature of the polyurethane constituting the porous layer A by≥10°C.
