PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a desired object as a clear moving image in a wide area image while displaying the wide area image correctly with no mismatch. SOLUTION: The partial real time image display comprises a video camera 1 for acquiring a video image with desired viewpoint direction and field angle, a video camera controller 2, a converter 3 for converting each frame image of the video image into a spherical surface image, a unit 4 for matching the spherical surface images being converted sequentially as a composite image, a unit 5 for generating a still peripheral image by pasting the composite image to an imaginary spherical surface, a converter 8 for reconverting the spherical surface image into a plane image, a unit 6 for specifying a peripheral display range in the still peripheral image of the spherical surface or plane image in real time, an image composition unit 7 for cutting the peripheral display range and fitting a real time image of video output itself with no break, and a display 9 for displaying composited still peripheral image and real time image.
