PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a change detecting method with which attitude change or presence or absence of motion of an object can be highly accurately detected. SOLUTION: A mark on a window is irradiated with light by a light emitting part 12. A camera 11 then images a predetermined area including the mark, and a position detecting part 13 detects a position of an image of the mark projected within the picked-up image. In a comparator part 14 and a control part 17, a change in the position of the image is then detected and when there is a change, it is detected that the window is opened or broken.
