PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motorcycle capable of enhancing the rigidity of a unit swing type power unit using a simple constitution and suppressing a cost by eliminating the use of a universal joint in a power transmission system. SOLUTION: The tail of a housing 34 of a motor 13 and a reduction gear 45 of a shaft drive type transmission device 31 are put in rigid coupling. The transmission device 31 has also a rear driving device 46 to support a rear wheel 3, and the device 46 and the reduction gear 45 are coupled to each other by a pipe 58 extending fore and aft beside the rear wheel 3. The power unit 8 is formed by accommodating the transmission shaft in the pipe 58. The forefront of the power unit 8 is coupled with the body frame 6 swingably in the vertical direction, and the tail is coupled with a body frame 6 by a cushion unit 33.
