PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical combination of amlodipine or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof and atorvastatin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. SOLUTION: The arithmetic and interactive pharmaceutical combination of amlodipine with atorvastatin is useful for treating subjects suffering from angina pectoris, atherosclerosis, hypertension combined with hyperlipidemia and to treat subjects exhibiting symptoms of cardiac risk, including humans.
