PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil in water type emulsified cosmetic having a good affinity to the skin, exhibiting a high tension feeling, and a high moisturizing and emollient effect, and also having a very good stabilization over time. SOLUTION: This oil in water type emulsified cosmetic contains, in addition to at least an aqueous component and oil component, a component (a) 0.3-6 mass % polyoxyethylene dipolyhydroxystearate, and a component (b) 0.01-10 mass % polyasparagic acid salt. The oil in water type emulsified cosmetic further contains a component (c) 10-95 mass % 14-30C fatty acid ester having a branched chain in its molecule in the oil component.
