METHOD FOR PRODUCING 1-ALKYLTHIO-4-t-BUTYL-2-NITROBENZENES AND 2-ALKYLTHIO-5-t-BUTYLANILINES, AND COMPOUND OBTAINED BY THE PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently and inexpensively producing 1-alkylthio-4-t-butyl-2-nitrobenzenes and 2-alkylthio-5-t-butylanilines from an easily available raw material by a short process. SOLUTION: The method for producing a compound represented by general formula (II) (wherein, R1 is a substituent; n is an integer of 0-3; and R2 is an alkyl group) involves reacting a compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein, R1 is a substituent; n is an integer of 0-3; and X is a halogen atom) with a sulfide ion. The method for producing a compound represented by general formula (III) (wherein, R1 is a substituent; n is an integer of 0-3; and R2 is an alkyl group) involves reducing the compound represented by general formula (II).
