PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator for a building having a combination of capability of preventing penetration of raindrops and a ventilating capacity without spoiling any beauty of the building. SOLUTION: The ventilator 5 is constituted to ventilate the inside and outside of the building H. The ventilator 5 is installed in an opening of an outer wall separating the inside and outside of the building H, and provided with a hollow ventilator body 52, 53, 54 whose interior space is communicated with the inside of the building H and a decoration cover 51 mounted on the position to cover an outer wall side of the ventilator body 52, 53, 54.
