PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely suck and remove gas while improving working environment in an open type fume hood with a working space open to the front. SOLUTION: A top plate 5 constituting the hood 6 covering the working space is positioned backward from a front surface of a sink 1. A suction duct 18 is connected to the top plate 5. A supporting hollow duct 39 is arranged in a front plate 8a of a sink tank 8 in the sink 1, and a jet hole 43 is opened in a state of communicating the hollow duct 39 and the front plate 8a of the sink tank 8.
