PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and increase the efficiency of a heat storage system. SOLUTION: In this heat storage method, alcohol is evaporated and separated from an alcoholic solution by vacuum deaeration. Slurry ice is generated in the alcoholic solution by the evaporation latent heat of the alcohol produced when the alcohol is separated from the alcoholic solution, and cold is stored by the slurry ice.
