PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the joint structure of a fence of excellent appearance and workability. SOLUTION: A pipe post 3 is formed with a beam fit-in hole 6 with a beam fit-in opening part 6a and a bracket placing opening part 6b continuously formed. A bracket 4 has engaging grooves 9a in sidewall parts 9 provided on both sides of a receiving part 8 for receiving a beam 2. The engaging grooves 9a of the bracket 4 are fitted to a cylindrical wall 3a of the lower part of the bracket placing opening part 6b of the post 3 to engage the bracket 4 with the post 3. The end part of the beam 2 is placed on the bracket 4 and inserted in the beam fit-in hole 6, and a one-side volt 10 is passed through bolt holes 8, 2a from below and fastened to fix the beam 2 to the bracket 4. The beam can be jointed only by the bracket 4 and the bolt 10 other than the post 3 and the beam 2, and the engaging operation of the bracket 4 with the post 3 is extremely simple. Workability is thereby good, and a view is excellent since the bolt 10 is invisible. Furthermore, a plane angle and a longitudinal slope can be easily coped with. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
