PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a cadaverine-dicarboxylic acid salt in high reaction yield, production rate and purity by a simplified production process. SOLUTION: The cadaverine-dicarboxylic acid salt is produced by contacting an aqueous solution of an L-lysine dicarboxylic acid salt with Escherichia coli containing L-lysine decarboxylase gene introduced into the cell or Escherichia coli having L-lysine decarboxylase localized on the surface of the cell. The aqueous solution of the L-lysine dicarboxylic acid salt is produced by using L-lysine fermentation liquid fermented while controlling the pH with a dicarboxylic acid and the L-lysine decarboxylase is prepared by using the fermentation liquid. The cadaverine-dicarboxylic acid salt is produced from the aqueous solution of the cadaverine-dicarboxylic acid salt by concentration, addition of an organic solvent, filtration and crystallization.
