An analog-to-digital converter of input to digital output signals comprises a multiplexer (4) for one of the signals, a sigma-delta modulator (10) to convert the signal to a two-value signal (ZS) and a digital filter (14) to form an output signal from this. The filter has a memory for the intermediate storage of the output signal. An Independent claim is also included for a conversion process using the above.
