<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke separator for simply setting up a smoking area to simply change one corner inside a room into various types of smoking spaces, prevent purple smoke from flowing out of the smoking space, clean up the smoke and return air into the room for circulation, and promptly suck in the smoke in the smoking space to prevent other smokers from being exposed to the smoke. <P>SOLUTION: The smoke separator is provided with a suction port 3 on a wide side surface 2a of a flat box body 2, a table plate supporting part 4 for a standing position, a table plate supporting part 5 for a sitting position to support a sitting table 6, panel plates 7 on both sides of the wide side surface 2b of the flat box body having an exhaust port 8 in between, air outlets 12 on both narrow side surfaces 2c and an upper surface 2d for forming an air curtain 11 partitioning the room A into a suction port side space 9 and an exhaust port side space 10, and an air blower 13 and an air cleaner 14 between the suction port 3, and the exhaust port 8 and the air outlet 12 in the flat box body 2.
