PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a pitch polisher of 4 to 10 m in diameter easy in conveyance and carrying in.

SOLUTION: This large-sized pitch polisher 2 is constituted by having a pitch layer 2a on a turntable 3 of at least 4 m in diameter. This turntable has a cast iron annular-shaped body 5 flush with a top surface of a disc-shaped stone material 4 by disposing a plurality of cast iron fan-shaped divided segments at an outer periphery of the disc-shaped stone material 4 of at least 2 m in diameter. Gaps between the cast iron fan-shaped divided segments and between the cast iron fan-shaped divided segments and the disc-shaped stone material are bonded and hardened by metallic powder including hardening type resin adhesive 10 to eliminate the gaps, and the upper surface of the metallic powder including hardening type resin adhesive hardened object is processed to be formed so that the top surface of the disc-shaped stone material and the top surface of the cast iron annular-shaped body may become flush with each other.
