<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more suitably and safely execute processing concerned with the recording and display of using history information of an IC card. <P>SOLUTION: When an application is started, a CPU is shifted from an off mode 261 to a poling mode 262 and detects an approached non-contact IC card by controlling a reader device. When the non-contact IC card is detected, the CPU is shifted to a balance display mode 263 to display the balance information of the non-contact IC card for prescribed time. Then the CPU is shifted to a history display/storing mode 264 on the basis of a user's instruction to display the history information or store the history information in a database. In the poling mode 261, the CPU is shifted to a history deletion mode 265 on the basis of a user's instruction to delete the history information of the database.
