<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to recognize that the shock higher than a fixed level is applied on a magnetic tape cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: A ball W, and leaf springs 12, 13 for holding the ball W therebetween are disposed in the magnetic tape cartridge, and the ball W is released from the holding between the leaf springs 12, 13 when shocks higher than a fixed level are applied. When the ball W falls, the ball W clatters in a cartridge case, and a user recognizes that the shock higher than the fixed level is applied on the magnetic tape cartridge. Additionally, the ball W and the leaf springs 12, 13 are made of conductors, a conductor path is constituted of the ball W and the leaf springs 12, 13, a conduction test is carried out by the terminals of the leaf springs 12, 13 which can be brought into contact from the outside, and thus it is electrically recognized that the shock higher than the fixed level is applied on the magnetic tape cartridge 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
