<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CDQ which has the improved maintainability of its gas circulating blower and can have the gas circulating system constituted in an economical layout. <P>SOLUTION: The coke dry quenching (CDQ) facility has a circulating gas line formed by concatenating a cooling tower 1, a primary dust remover 3, a waste heat boiler 2, a secondary dust remover 6, a gas circulating blower 8, and the cooling tower 1 in turn to provide a closed loop through which the gas cooling red-hot coke flows in the above order of the connections. In the facility, the number of gas lines from the lower part of the waste heat boiler 2 to the secondary dust remover 6 is limited to one, and a straightening vane is arranged in a part of the gas line connecting to the lower part of the boiler 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
