PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making system that eliminates the need of maintenance of infrastructures such as a charging equipment, wherein a power source for an electric car can be attained only by a driver exchanging the battery incorporating a cartridge-type case easily where it has charged for a short time, and capable of long-distance drive which is the greatest defect of an electric motorcar. SOLUTION: With this exchange system comprising the cartridge-type case 1 incorporating a secondary battery and a battery exchange device 3, time for charge and maintenance of the infrastructure are not needed. A plurality of holes are formed in a stay provided in a side face of a cartridge-type earth and a bottom surface plate, and pins are inserted into the holes to fix the cartridge-type case.
