PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard having keys with projection other than keys of F and J, so that the positions of respective keys of the keyboard can be easily confirmed when inputting characters in a personal computer, the roles of keys can be easily learnt, and the fingers can precisely hit the keys. SOLUTION: The keys of this keyboard are neatly arranged according to a fixed rule. The allocation of roles of the fingers in inputting are determined. Although the range of the forefinger is wide, a projection is provided on each key of V, R, 4, M, U, and 7, whereby the position of each key becomes easy to confirm, learn, and move. Further, each key of A, S, D, K, and L located in home positions, each key of Esc, Delete, Back Space, and half-size/full-size, and each key of Ctrl, Alt and Delete also have projections, respectively.
