PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle traveling speed control device capable of improving the transfer characteristic between a state in which the vehicle speed is under the control of a controller, and a state in which the vehicle speed is not under the control of the controller. SOLUTION: The vehicle traveling speed control device comprises a vehicle speed sensor 3 to detect the vehicle speed 31, a vehicle speed controller 6 to output the vehicle speed control value 33 to control the vehicle speed 31 at a predetermined value 30, an accelerator pedal 4 to be operated to adjust the vehicle speed 31, an accelerator pedal sensor 5 to detect the acceleration/deceleration value corresponding to the operation quantity of the accelerator pedal 4, a minimum value selection unit 7 to select any one of the vehicle speed control value 33 and the acceleration/deceleration, and a throttle control unit 8 to adjust the acceleration/deceleration of the vehicle according to the selected value 34. The vehicle speed controller 6 includes a reference control value setting unit 20 to store the reference control value 40 in advance according to any one of the set vehicle speed 30 and the vehicle speed 31, and outputs the vehicle speed control value 33 based on the reference control value 40 while selecting the control according to the accelerator pedal 4.
