PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately set viscosity in the upstream of a torsion bar (torsional member) in a steering mechanical system to improve the convergence of a vehicle behavior. SOLUTION: This power steering device is equipped with a torque detection device 10 including a torsional member 10a of a spring element of torsion generated by steering torque in the middle of the steering mechanical system 4 from a steering member 2 to a steered wheel 3.
