PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella, shaped not to be an obstacle to walking when it is closed and carried, operated by one hand, and having such stability to be released temporarily in use. SOLUTION: A shoulder hanging hook 3 integrated with a slider 2 through a built-in pull spring 1 and a lower spring 5 integrated with a streamline-shaped push button 4 are fitted to a rod 7 in which a guide rail 6 is formed, a lock 9 with a push spring 8, a torsion spring 10 for rotation and a cap 11 are fitted to a grip 12, and the grip 12 is fixed to the rod 7.
