PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock for a game machine which can prevent fraudulence committed to a control board for the games, or the like, by completely blocking the releasing of a door with a wire, or the like, to be inserted through a clearance. SOLUTION: The lock 7 for the game machine is provided with a cylinder lock 11 which is provided on a front panel 5 made free to open or close on a case body 3 and has a crank shaft 9, a pressing pawl 13 with an L-shaped tip to be fixed on the front panel 5, an oscillation pawl 15 which locks the pressing pawl 13 with the regulation of the oscillation while being oscillated by the pressing of the pressing pawl 13 rockably installed on the case body 3, a slide plate 17 which is slidably installed on the case body 3 and has an engaging hole to let the tip of the crank shaft 9 advance thereinto, and an oscillation regulating pawl 19 which is fastened on the slide plate 17 to regulate the oscillation of the oscillation pawl 15 at the position of the slide plate 17 sliding in one way while releasing the regulation in the rotation of the oscillation pawl 15 at the position of the slide plate 17 sliding in the other way and holds the slide plate 17 at the other sliding position.
