The separating machine (1) has a guide piece (6) hinged to an adjustable horizontal frame piece (41b). Its end may be slipped between the ring (R) and the finger (F). The ring is held steady by a clamp (31) with two finger rests (3) and an adjustment screw (33). A circular saw (5), on a swinging arm (45), engages the curved guide piece. The horizontal frame piece is restrained by a stop (43) sliding in a slot (42). A vertical post (41a) stands on a baseplate (2) which holds the clamp. It supports the horizontal frame piece and has a pivot for an arm holding a circular saw.
