The inventive umbrella comprises a telescopic rod provided with a handle (10) on one end thereof and with a head (4) on the other end, a collar (11) which is arranged on the telescopic rod in such a way that longitudinally movable, a spring-wire device for umbrella opening and folding and a hood with a frame made of foldable spokes. Each spoke has a nearest to the telescopic rod section which is formed by a main elongated arm (15) connected to the collar (11) and an additional arm (14) connected to the head (4) which are connected to each other by a pivot (26) and by tie links. Each spoke also comprises a middle section which is formed by a lower flexible wire link (20) and arranged in such a way that it is forcibly upwardly-convex by a top flexible wire link (19) when the umbrella is open, and a peripheral section embodied in the form of a wire end rod (21). Said main elongated arm (15) and the additional arm (14) of the nearest to the telescopic rod section are interconnected in an X-shaped manner. The part (27) of the additional arm (14) arranged on the side of the pivot (26) opposite to the telescopic rod has the length which is less than the corresponding part (28) of the main elongated arm (15) and an elongated link (16) is connected thereto. The opposite end of said part (27) of the additional arm (14) is connected to the shortened link (17) which is connected to the main elongated arm (15) by the opposite end thereof in such a way that a first degree parallelogram mechanism is formed. The lower flexible wire link (20) of the middle section is connected to the elongated link (16) near to the point where it is connected to the shortened link (17). The top flexible wire link (19) of the middle section is connected to the shortened link (17) on the side where it is connected to the main elongated arm (15).
