Disposal of slaughterhouse waste, to prevent BSE contamination, uses sacks with an outer layer as a coating which resists penetration during storage and transport

For the disposal of waste from slaughterhouses, the waste is contained in sacks which are at least partially within a shell coating layer. The sack is extended at the opening which is used to cover the coating layer at least while the sack is being filled. The opening extension is of a thinner material, which can be welded, and with a reinforced edge. The sack and/or the coating layer are of a plastics material which resists penetration.
