Method for prophylaxis and treatment of (a) cardiovascular, (cardio)pulmonary and renal diseases or (b) hypertension or hyperlipemia comprises combined administration of simvastatin (I) and telmisartan (II), or its polymorphs or salts. An Independent claim is also included for a composition of (I) and (II), as a combination for simultaneous, separate or sequential administration.
