<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forklift capable of correctly reading load information even at a dark place. <P>SOLUTION: The forklift is provided with a bar cord reader 15 for reading a two-dimensional bar cord attached to a load, a distance sensor 19 for detecting a distance between the bar cord reader 15 and the load, and a lamp 17 for irradiating light to the bar cord. When the distance detected by the distance sensor 19 becomes a distance that can be picked up by the bar cord reader 15 in a focusing state, the lamp 17 irradiates the bar cord, and the bar cord irradiated with light is read by the bar cord reader 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
