<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instruct a style and manual timbre suitable for a song. <P>SOLUTION: In this automatic performance system, tempo data TPa, TPc or time data TMa, TMc are pre-stored respectively in respective song data DAi and style data DCj (i=1-n, j=1-m), style data DCj in which the tempo data or the time data match the song data are simultaneously reproduced. Moreover, according to a setting by a user, a style setting data SS(DBi) for specifying style data DCk(k=1-m) to be simultaneously reproduced and tone setting data VS(DBi) for setting a manual timber are stored according to the song data.
