PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of easily and efficiently executing a series of photographys by a plurality of photographic patterns. SOLUTION: In a guide photography for performing a series of pattern photographys about a specific photographic target, a plurality of guide images G1 to G3 to be samples of the series of pattern photography are simultaneously displayed on a rear LCD (liquid crystal display) 10 provided to the imaging apparatus. Then, one photography is performed by selecting an optional guide image from the plurality of guide images G1 to G3 simultaneously displayed on the rear LCD 10, displaying it on the rear LCD 10 with a live view image in order to perform one photography belonging to the series of pattern photography based on a user's operation.
