PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing belt which prevents irregularities in an image due to static electricity and has improved diametrical strength. SOLUTION: At least an inner layer part of a thick part of the belt is constituted of electrically conductive heat resistant rubber-like elastic body which is elongated by being heated.
