PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking apparatus for food on skewer, by which an ingredient is cooked by effectively utilizing heat from a heating means. SOLUTION: The cooking apparatus includes: an apparatus body 2; and cassettes 4 to be set by insertion to each opening part formed in front of the apparatus body 2. A cooking space S is formed in each cassette 4 inside the apparatus body 2. The cooking spaces S are mutually partitioned with erected walls 6 and partitioning members 8 so as not to communicating with each other, and are the sealed or substantially sealed spaces when the cassettes 4 are inserted into the opening parts. The cassette 4 is provided with a holding member 33 for holding the skewer for pieces of grilled chicken.
