PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide adaptive array antenna controlling equipment which is capable of restraining path components arriving later than the received leading radio waves by a certain span of time and profitable for a small transmitter-receiver. SOLUTION: The adaptive array antenna controlling equipment adaptively controls a weighting factor on the basis of digital signals outputted from an ADC that receives weighted and synthesized analog signals as input signals. The adaptive array antenna controlling equipment is equipped with a first means for obtaining an impulse response on the basis of the correlation calculation of digital signals and known signals, a second means of generating a prescribed impulse response by extracting path components which are contained in a prescribed span of time and selected out of a plurality of path components contained in the impulse response, a third means of producing reference signals having a desired pattern on the basis of the convolutional calculation of the desired impulse response and the known signals, and a fourth means of controlling the weighting factor on the basis of digital signals outputted from the ADC and the reference signals.
