Electrical power system has a main battery (1) and a secondary battery (2) that are connected to an electrical generator (5). The main battery connects to a power distributor (21) via an isolating switch (13). The secondary connects via a charging and isolating unit (16).Both batteries may be connected individually or together with high power loads such as the electrohydraulic braking system.
