<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of reducing the load fluctuation of a stepping motor. <P>SOLUTION: A uncurling roller 32 is driven by the stepping motor 33. A clutch 34 transmits/releases the driving force of the stepping motor 33 to a flywheel, a roller 35, or the like for applying the inertial force of the stepping motor 33. A motor 31, the stepping motor 33 and the clutch 34 are controlled by a CPU 36.
