<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital information processor and a method for inputting Chinese characters into the digital information processor. <P>SOLUTION: This digital information processor disclosed here includes an input device provided with a stroke key corresponding to respective basic strokes of Chinese characters, a radical key, a first Chinese character morphological key and a second Chinese character morphological key; a storage circuit storing Chinese character codes; a display device; and a controller controlling to respond to the pushing of one of the stroke key, the radical key, the first Chinese character morphological key and the second Chinese character morphological key and display the Chinese characters related to the pushed key out of the Chinese characters stored in the storage circuit on the display device.
