HYDATOID DISCHARGING IMPLANT FOR GLAUCOMA TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydatoid discharging implant for glaucoma treatment which can discharge hydatoid from an eye ball to the outside of the retina preventing a retrograde infection at the level of virus to maintain an intraocular pressure decreasing effect for long time covering whole life and is simple to dispose without serious operation damage or the risk of an obstacle of the eye ball or a nasolacrimal duct after installation.

SOLUTION: A first tube 3 and a second tube 7 are connected through a first connector 5 and a second connector 6 in the vicinity of the surface of a conjunctiva 14 and a filter member 9 for prevention of the retrograde infection from the outside to the inside of the eye ball is connected to the second tube 7 through a third tube 8 passing though the inside of an inferior lacrimal punctum 23. Thereby the hydatoid discharging implant 1 can be installed at the inside of the eye ball and the outside of the retina without serious damage.
